I don't know if I can come up with 10, but here's my list:

28 Days Later
I Walked With A Zombie
Night of The Living Dead

...LOL, sorry, I'm not big on the zombie scene, so that's all I have.

You should definately check it out. No ghosts, comedy or kung fu, just a straight up gory zombie film.

Ha - I'm not big on any one kind of sub-genre at all. It was hard coming up with a Top 10 list too, but I couldn't come up with a Top 10 list of any kind of horror sub-genre. Ghosts, Slashers, Werewolves, Vampires, Serial Killers, Witches, you name it- I barely can dredge up a Top 10 list.

Dawn Of The Dead
Dawn Of The Dead (2004)
Land Of The Dead
Night of the Living Dead
Shaun Of The Dead
28 Days Later
Planet Terror
Dead Snow (Awesome Zombie Nazis, go rent it, it's new)
Fido (Some don't like it, I thought it was very funny, 50s style)
Trailer Park of Terror (Some very funny moments with trailer park undead!)

I want to add Feluci's 'Zombie!' but I missed the screening here in Toronto recently, so I didn't see it. But my friend saw it and said it had a Zombie vs. a shark. No kidding! They had a guy in Zombie makeup fight a live shark underwater! So I figured this deserves an honourable mention.

Yeah. It's a silly damn scene, but the music is perfect so... it's not a bad one.

I only really like one Zombie movie and that is " White Zombie " Starring the only actor I would have ever asked for an autograph, Bela Lugosi or Dracula ( because they were indivisible ) Made In 1932, It is considered the 1st zombie film

Yes.

"History has spoken" and White Zombie is an all-time classic, it's influencial, and its' legacy should be respected. Anyone who attempts to dethrone this classic from its established spot in history will fail. Just think of all of the movies that would have never happened without White Zombie and what our pop culture would be like today. The concept of dead people rising from the grave with a hunger for human flesh (and brains in some cases) would not here without it.
